There's something about Chicago that puts me on cloud nine and makes me start dreaming. This year I imagined living in a cute little apartment in the middle of the city (like my aunt does) for a year or two, when I'm twenty-something with that future wedding photog business. And I thought of how lovely it would be to spend a weekend there with a friend (blogger friend maybe?)--walking around, taking pictures, drinking coffee, and people-watching. Seriously, if nothing else, I must just spent a day in Chicago to people-watch some time, preferably in a Starbucks with a book and laptop. That would kind of complete my life.
Oh, and also, I have a new favourite coffee place now. Caribou Coffee, where have you been for the past fourteen years of my life? How did I just consume you for the first freaking time in Chicago? And, most important, why the heck are you not located in St. Louis? I mean, the closest Caribou to me is about 100 miles away in Columbia Missouri (yes, I kind of totally looked it up). Meaning that I'll have to wait until our summer Chicago trip (if it even happens? hopefully) to be completely delighted there again.
So tell me, do y'all have Caribou near you? Do let me know (if you do, I might just have to come visit).
have a lovely week!
